"Minazuki" Reservation Information
June 6th is the traditional Japanese cultural day known as "Nagoshi no Harae."
This Shinto ritual is held on June 6th to cleanse oneself of the sins and impurities of the past six months and to pray for good health and prosperity for the remaining six months.
Like New Year's Eve, it is considered an important milestone, and there is a tradition of eating "Minazuki," a triangular uiro rice cake with red beans sprinkled on it to ward off evil spirits.
In ancient times, this "Minazuki" festival was created by common people who were fascinated by the ice of the "Ice Festival" held at the Imperial Court, and prayed for good health.
It's called candy.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy Minazuki, a seasonal summer treat associated with the "Summer Purification Ceremony."
