Customer Harassment Guidelines
In order to create a workplace environment where employees can work with peace of mind, YONEYA CO., LTD. has established the following guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
[Definition of customer harassment]
The target is "complaints and verbal or physical actions from customers that harm the working environment of employees due to inappropriate means or manner in which demands are fulfilled," as described in the "Corporate Manual for Countermeasures against Customer Harassment" published by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
[Examples of targeted acts]
The following examples of conduct ① to ③ are targeted, and if any of these are found to be true, we will suspend the service and, depending on the content, we may consult with and take action against the police, lawyers, etc. However, this is not limited to the following.
1. When the content of your request is deemed inappropriate
a) When no defect or negligence is found in our products or services
b) If the content of the request is not related to our products or services
② Examples of requests that are likely to be deemed inappropriate regardless of their validity
a) Physical attack (assault/injury)
b) Psychological attacks (threats, slander, libel, insults, verbal abuse)
c) Intimidating behavior
d) Excessive demands for apology (dogeza)
e) Forcing someone to respond or detaining them for long periods of time (refusing to leave, staying put, being confined)
f) Continuous and persistent behavior
g) Defamation, libel or stalking
h) Posting content that damages the reputation of the company or employees or personal information on social media
3) When the request is deemed inappropriate in light of its validity
a) Request for exchange of a product for which there is no defect or fault on our part
b) Demands for monetary compensation
c) Demanding punishment for our employees or related parties
d) Unreasonable requests for special treatment or accommodation
